Ingredients list for Polenta Cookies
- ½ cup Polenta
- tablespoon Butter 1 cup + 1
- 1¼ cups Refined flour (maida)
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Milk
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with a silicon mat.
- Cream together the butter and castor sugar in a bowl using an electric beater.
- Add the egg and vanilla essence and whisk. Add the salt and fold. Add the polenta and flour and fold again. Add the milk and mix well.
- Put small scoops of dough onto the lined baking tray and lightly flatten using the back of a fork. This makes twelve cookies.
- Put the baking tray in preheated oven and bake forten to fifteen minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
- Serve.
