Ingredients list for Plum Chenna Payasam
- 8-10 Plums chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Chenna crumbled
- 7 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/4 cup Khoya/mawa crumbled
- 1/2 litres Milk
- a pinch Green cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios slivered
Method
- Grind plums into a purée and transfer into a non-stick pan. Add 4 tbsps sugar and cook for 10-12 minutes or till the mixture thickens.
- Add chenna and khoya and mix. Add milk, green cardamom powder, pistachios and remaining sugar and mix well. Cook till the mixture comes to a boil.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
