Ingredients list for Pizza Samosa

  • as required Readymade samosa dough
  • 2 tablespo to deep fry Refined sunflower oil
  • 1 medium Onion , cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 medium Green capsicum , cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup Corn kernels , boiled
  • 1/4 cup Tomato puree
  • 150 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) , cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Green peas , blanched
  • 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle Dried mixed herbs
  • 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle Red chilli flakes
  • 100 grams Mozzarella cheese , cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • to sprinkle Parmesan cheese
  • to sprinkle Tomato ketchup

Method

  1. Heat refined sunflower oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté for a minute. Add capsicum and corn kernels and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add tomato puree and cook for 1 minute on medium heat. Add cottage cheese, salt and green peas and mix. Sauté for 1 minute and switch off heat. Transfer into a bowl and cool.
  3. Add dried mixed herbs, red chilli flakes and mozzarella cheese and mix well.
  4. Heat sufficient fortune oil a kadai.
  5. Lightly knead the dough, divide into equal medium portions and roll them into thin oval discs. Halve each disc.
  6. Take water in a bowl. Apply water on the edges of each halved disc, shape into a cone, fill in the prepared filling, apply water on edges and seal the edges to form a triangle.
  7. Slide the samosas, a few at a time, into hot oil and deep fry till golden and crisp. Keep rotating the samosas occasionally so that they are evenly cook all around. Drain on absorbent paper.
  8. Sprinkle parmesan cheese powder, crushed mixed herbs and red chilli flakes on them.
  9. Arrange the samosas on a serving platter and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
