By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Feb 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Raw peanuts, Oil Cuisine TamilNadu Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 2 cups raw peanuts 1 1/2 tablespoons oil 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds 5-6 curry leaves A pinch of asafoetida 1 large onion, chopped 2-3 green chillies, chopped 1/4 cup scraped fresh coconut 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 tablespoon lemon juice Salt to taste Method Boil or pressure cook peanuts in four cups of salted water till almost done. Drain, refresh and set aside. Heat the oil in a kadai; add the mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry for half a minute. Add the asafoetida, onion and green chillies and sauté for one minute. Add the peanuts, coconut, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt and toss to mix well. Continue to sauté for half a minute. Serve hot.
