Ingredients
- 2 cups penne pasta, boiled
- 1 cup white sauce
- 4 medium tomatoes,chopped
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 4 teaspoons tomato ketchup
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2 teaspoons crushed red chillies + for garnishing
- Salt to taste
- 6-7 fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped+ for garnishing
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese powder
Method
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for two minutes.
- Add crushed red chillies and mix. Add tomatoes and tomato puree and mix well.
- Add salt and roughly chopped basil leaves, mix well and cook till the tomatoes turn pulpy.
- Add white sauce and mix well. Add tomato ketchup and mix well.
- Add penne pasta, mix well and cook for two minutes. Adjust salt if required.
- Add Parmesan cheese powder and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with crushed red chillies and basil leaves.
