Ingredients
· 12-15 fresh basil leaves
· 1½ cups whipping cream
· ½ cup milk
· ½ cup fresh cream
· ⅓ cup condensed milk
· 2 tbsps powdered sugar
· Fresh basil sprigs for garnish
Method
1. Whip whipping cream in a mixing bowl till soft peaks are formed.
2. Put basil leaves in a blender jar, add milk and blend to a coarse paste. Add this to the whipped cream. Add fresh cream, condensed milk and powdered sugar and mix well.
3. Transfer the mixture into an air tight container, cover it with a lid and place it in the freezer to freeze for 6-7 hours.
4. Place scoops of the icecream in serving bowls and serve garnished with basil sprigs.
