Ingredients list for Paneer Parcels

  • 250 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) grated
  • as required Naan dough
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • for dusting Refined flour (maida)


  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add green chillies and turmeric powder and mix. Add cottage cheese, mix and cook for a minute.
  3. Add salt and mix. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Preheat oven at 180° C.
  5. Dust the worktop with some flour. Place the naan dough on it, knock back to release excess air and roll out into a large sheet.
  6. Cut out roundels with a medium sized cookie cutter. Place a portion of the cottage cheese mixture in the centre of each roundel, bring the edges together in the centre and pinch to seal. Place the parcels on a baking tray and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
