Ingredients
- 1 cup spinach leaves (palak), blanched and chopped
- ½ cup paneer (cottage cheese) grated
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1-2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornflour/ corn starch
- 2-3 tablespoons oats
- Ghee for shallow frying
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add green chillies, mix and sauté for 15 seconds. Add garlic and sauté for a minute.
- Add spinach, mix and sauté. Add salt and mix well. Transfer into a bowl and cool.
- Add cottage cheese, cornflour and oats and mix well.
- Divide the prepared mixture into equal portions and wrap them around 2 skewers to prepare kababs.
- Heat some ghee on a non-stick tawa. Place the prepared kababs on it and shallow-fry till fully done and golden from all sides.
- Serve hot.
