By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Oats powder, Jaggery powder Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Oats Jaggery Modak 1 1/2 cups Oats powder 1 cup Jaggery powder 2-3 tablespoons Ghee 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 2 tablespoons Almonds , finely chopped 2 tablespoons Cashewnuts , finely chopped 1/4 cup Desiccated coconut 3-4 tablespoons Milk Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add oats powder, and sauté on low heat, stirring continuously, for 3-4 minutes. Add jaggery powder, green cardamom powder, nuts and desiccated coconut, mix well, and sauté on low heat, stirring continuously, for 1-2 minutes. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add milk gradually and mix till the mixture gets well combined together. Let it cool slightly. Transfer a generous portion of mixture into a modak and make a modak. Demould and place on a serving platter. Make more modaks with the remaining mixture and place on the same platter.
