By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Nov 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Rolled oats, Jaggery powder Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Oats Jaggery Cookies 1 cup Rolled oats 3/4 cup Jaggery powder 1 cup Whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) 3/4 teaspoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 3/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 cup Unsalted butter 2-3 tablespoons Milk 1/2 cup Cashewnuts , chopped Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Sift together whole wheat flour, baking powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder and salt into a bowl. Add rolled oats and mix well. Take butter in a mixing bowl, add jaggery powder and cream with an electric beater till mixture becomes creamy. Add milk and mix until combined. Add the flour mixture and fold in till everything combine well together. Add cashewnuts and mix well to form dough. Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into balls and slightly flatten each. Place them on a baking tray. Place the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven allow to cool. Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
