Ingredients list for Oatmeal Bars
- 2 cups Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Cashewnuts chopped
- 2 tablespoons Raisins
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 tablespoon Custard powder
- to decorate Chocolate sauce
- to decorate Strawberry crush
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Take oatmeal, honey, cashewnuts, raisins, butter, cinnamon powder and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well. Put this mixture into a mould and press lightly.
- Place the mould in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Pour milk into a non-stick pan. Add custard powder and whisk well. Cook this on medium heat till the custard thickens.
- Take it off heat and set aside. When the oatmeal bars are baked remove from the oven. Pour a little custard in the centre of serving plates.
- Demould the bars and place one on each plate.
- Decorate with chocolate sauce and strawberry crush and serve immediately.
