Ingredients list for Mushroom Tikki
- 12-15 Button mushrooms
- Potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 3 medium Onions chopped
- 4 large Potatoes boiled and mashed
- 2-3 Green chillies chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
Method
- Boil mushrooms in water for about ten minutes. Drain and chop them finely.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté till soft and translucent. Add mushrooms and sauté till all the moisture gets evaporated.
- Take potatoes in a bowl. Add green chillies to the mushrooms and mix. Add this mixture to the potatoes and mix well. Add coriander leaves and salt and mix.
- Heat oil in a pan. Keep semolina in a plate. Shape the mixture into tikkis. Roll them in semolina, press slightly and shallow fry till golden.
- Serve hot.
