Ingredients list for Mint Chutney

  • 1 small Mint Leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Black Gram Split
  • 2 teaspoons Black gram split (urad dal dhuli)
  • 8 Dried red chilli
  • 2 Shallot
  • 6-8 Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind pulp
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • to taste Salt


  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan add urad dal and fry till golden brown.
  2. Add dry red chillies, shallots, curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  3. Remove from flame and mint leaves, tamrind pulp, ginger, salt and little water if required ang grind to a fine paste.
  4. Serve with parathas.
