Ingredients
- 1 small bunch mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons split skinless black gram (urad dal dhuli)
- 8 dried red chilli
- 2 shallot
- 6-8 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp
- 1 inch piece ginger
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan add urad dal and fry till golden brown.
- Add dry red chillies, shallots, curry leaves and saute for a minute.
- Remove from flame and mint leaves, tamrind pulp, ginger, salt and little water if required and grind to a fine paste.
- Serve with parathas.
