Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon French mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Take a clean bowl. Place egg yolk, salt, white pepper powder, mustard powder, sugar and vinegar in it and mix it thoroughly with a whisk or hand or else transfer to a blender.
- Add oil, a little at a time, whisking/blending continuously, until all the oil is incorporated. Finish the sauce by adding lemon juice and adjust the seasoning.
