Ingredients list for Mango Sheera - SK Khazana
- 1 Medium ripe mango peeled and chopped
- 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
- 2-4 tablespoons Ghee
- to taste Salt
- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- a large pi for garnishing Saffron
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 10-12 Pistachios blanched and peeled
- a few Blanched pistachio slivered
Method
- Dry roast semolina for 2-3 minutes.
- Heat 3 tablespoons ghee in a non-stick pan. Add roasted semolina and mix. Add mango, salt, mix and cook for a minute.
- Add milk and mix. Add saffron, mix, cover and cook till the moisture dries.
- Add sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios, mix well, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon ghee, mix well, cover and cook for 1 minute.
- Garnish with some saffron and pistachio slivers and serve.
