Ingredients list for Lychee Phirni
- 25-30 Canned lychee chopped
- 1 1/2 cup Rice
- 3 tablespoons Basmati rice soaked and ground
- 1/2 litre Milk
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup Khoya/mawa grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Rose water
- 10-12 Almonds blanched and sliced
- 10-12 Pistachios blanched and sliced
Method
- Mix together milk and lychee in handi. Add ground rice and mix. Add sugar and mix. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.
- Add khoya, rose water and mix well. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
- Once it cools, transfer into serving bowl. Garnish with lychees, almonds, pistachios and serve.
