Ingredients list for Lamb And French Bean Stew
- 700 grams Boneless Lamb
- 450 grams French Beans
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 4-5 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 inch piece Ginger minced
- 4 Green chillies chopped
- 2 Fresh red chillies chopped
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon Mixed herbs
- 2 medium Potatoes cut into 1 inch cubes
- to taste Salt
Method
- Cut lamb into one inch cubes. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the lamb pieces and brown them. Drain and keep aside.
- Add onions to the same skillet and sauté for two to three minutes. Add ginger and garlic and sauté over high heat for half a minute.
- Add green and red chillies and sauté for two minutes. Add black pepper powder, dried herbs and mix. Add diced potatoes, green beans, salt and mix.
- Add two cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook for thirty five to forty minutes or till the meat is cooked.
- Serve immediately with rice.
