Ingredients list for Junglee Chicken Tikka Sandwich - SK Khazana - SK K
- 1 cup Readymade chicken tikka
- 4 Brown bread slices
- 4 White bread slices
- 4 Hot dog rolls
- 2 tablespoons Onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons Carrot grated
- 6 tablespoons Tandoori mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 Green chilli chopped
- for applyi for greasing Butter
- 5-6 Lettuce leaves
- to serve Tomato ketchup
Method
- Preheat a sandwich griller.
- Shred the chicken tikka and put into a bowl. Add onion, carrot and tandoori mayonnaise and mix well. Add coriander leaves and green chilli and mix.
- Apply butter on 2 brown bread slices, spread some tikka mixture evenly on one slice, cover with the second slice. Take 2 white bread slices, spread tikka mixture evenly on one slice, tear a few lettuce leaves and spread them over the tikka mixture and cover with the second slice.
- Spread some butter on the griller, place the sandwiches on it, spread some butter on top of the sandwiches, close the griller and grill till grill marks appear on both sides of the sandwiches.
- Slit the hot dog without cutting through and spread it out like a butterfly. Place a few lettuce leaves on both halves, and chicken tikka mixture on one half. Fold immediately.
- Remove the sandwiches from the griller, halve them and place on a serving platter. Place the hot dog roll on another serving platter and serve immediately with a bowl of tomato ketchup.
