Ingredients list for Jain Missi Roti
- 3-4 tablespoons Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 3-4 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- 4-5 tablespoons Soyabean flour
- 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Cabbage finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander finely chopped
- 1 teaspoons Dried pomegranate seeds (anardana)
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin - Coriander powder
Method
- Mix gram flour, soy bean flour and wheat flour in a bowl.
- Add chillies, cabbage, coriander, pomegranate kernels, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt.
- Add oil and water and knead into a soft dough. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, shape them into balls and roll out a thin disc.
- Place the missi roti on hot tawa, drizzle oil and shallow-fry on both the sides till done.
- Garnish with butter and serve with yogurt.
