Ingredients for Italian Bread Pakora Recipe

  • Bread slices 8

  • Chilli garlic sauce as required

  • Pizza sauce as required

  • Onion chopped 1 medium

  • Tomato chopped 1 medium

  • Green capsicum chopped 1

  • Oregano 2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Spread chilli garlic spread on four slices and pizza sauce on the rest of them.

Step 2

In a bowl mix together onion, tomato, green capsicum, oregano and salt.

Step 3

Divide it into four equal portions and put it on the breads and cover it with the remaining breads.

Step 4

In a bow mix together besan, red chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.

Step 5

Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai.

Step 6

Dip the bread slices in the mixture and deep fry them till golden brown in color.

Step 7

Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney.
