By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Aug 2018 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Idli, Cornflour Cuisine South Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Idli Fry-SK Khazana 8-10 Idli cut into cubes for dusting Cornflour 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 2-3 Dried red chillies broken 2 sprigs Curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) 1/2 teaspoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal) 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing) 1 tablespoon Molagapodi to taste Salt Method Take idli cubes in a bowl, add some cornflour and mix. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai And deep-fry till light golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add red chillies, curry leaves, black gram, Bengal gram, asafoetida, molagapodi, some water and salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add fried idli pieces and toss well.
