Ingredients 

  • 8 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons spinach puree
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 green chillies chopped
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste 
  • 2 teaspoons cumin powder
  • 8 teaspoons oil
  • 8 slices white bread to serve

Method

  1. For each omelette, break 2 eggs into a bowl, add ¼ chopped onion, ¼ chopped garlic, ¼ chopped green chilli, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, salt, ½ tsp cumin powder and 1 tbsp spinach paste and whisk till all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Heat 2 tsps oil in a non-stick pan, pour the egg mixture, cook for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is cooked. Fold. Similarly, make the rest of the omelettes.
  3. Serve hot with 2 slices of bread cut into triangles.
