Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 4 tablespoons spinach puree
- 1 large onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 4 green chillies chopped
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 8 teaspoons oil
- 8 slices white bread to serve
Method
- For each omelette, break 2 eggs into a bowl, add ¼ chopped onion, ¼ chopped garlic, ¼ chopped green chilli, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, salt, ½ tsp cumin powder and 1 tbsp spinach paste and whisk till all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Heat 2 tsps oil in a non-stick pan, pour the egg mixture, cook for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is cooked. Fold. Similarly, make the rest of the omelettes.
- Serve hot with 2 slices of bread cut into triangles.
