Ingredients list for Green Sukka Chicken
- 1 cup coriander leaves roughly chopped
 - 1/2 cup Mint leaves roughly chopped
 - 2-3 Green chillies
 - 750 grams Chicken on bone cut into 1 inch pieces
 - 1 inch Ginger
 - 4-5 Garlic cloves
 - 2-3 tablespoons Oil
 - 8-10 Curry leaves
 - 2 medium bunch Onions sliced
 - to taste Salt
 - 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns crushed
 - Juice of 1 lemon
 
Method
- Place coriander, mint and green chillies in a mixer jar.
 - Roughly chop the ginger and add to the mixer. Add half the garlic, salt, lemon juice and grind to a coarse paste.
 - Add to the chicken and mix well. Set aside to marinate for fifteen to twenty minutes.
 - Heat oil in a pan. Crush remaining garlic and add to the pan. Saute till golden brown.
 - Add curry leaves and onion. Fry till onions are golden brown.
 - Add the chicken and mix well.
 - Add salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix.
 - Cover and cook for twenty five to thirty minutes or till the chicken is cooked.
 - Serve hot.
