Ingredients list for Goan Sausage Chilli Fry
- 10-12 Chicken sausages
- 1 medium Green capsicum sliced
- 2 medium Onions finely chopped
- 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons Vinegar
- 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- ½ teaspoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Method
- Heat water in a non-stick, add sausages and boil for 2-3 minutes. Drain.
- Peel the outer layer of the drained sausages and cut them into large pieces.
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add onions and sauté till translucent. Add capsicum and mix well. Add tomatoes and sauté on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and vinegar and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and mix well. Add chopped sausage pieces and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
