Ingredients list for Goan Sausage Chilli Fry

  • 10-12 Chicken sausages
  • 1 medium Green capsicum sliced
  • 2 medium Onions finely chopped
  • 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter


  1. Heat water in a non-stick, add sausages and boil for 2-3 minutes. Drain.
  2. Peel the outer layer of the drained sausages and cut them into large pieces.
  3. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add onions and sauté till translucent. Add capsicum and mix well. Add tomatoes and sauté on high heat for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add salt, red chilli powder and vinegar and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add sugar and mix well. Add chopped sausage pieces and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
