Ingredients
- Sliced emmental cheese as required
- Sliced cheddar cheese as required
- 4 white bread slices
- 3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon finely chopped pickled jalapenos
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Dried breadcrumbs as required
- Oil for shallow frying
- Tomato ketchup for serving
Method
- Take mayonnaise in a bowl. Add garlic powder, onion powder and jalapenos and mix well.
- Break eggs in a bowl. Add milk and whisk well.
- Place 2 bread slices on worktop. Spread mayonnaise mixture on one slice and place emmental and cheddar slices on top. Cover with another slice. Similarly make other sandwich.
- Cut the sandwiches into triangles, dip in egg mixture and roll in dried breadcrumbs.
- Shallow fry the sandwiches till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
