Ingredients list for Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread

  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup + fo Refined flour (maida)
  • 3/4 cup Dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup + fo Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Instant coffee powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence


  1. Preheat oven to 180° C. Grease a loaf tin with some oil and dust with some flour.
  2. Place the zucchini on an absorbent paper so that excess moisture is absorbed.
  3. Put flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, coffee powder and chocolate chips in a bowl and mix.
  4. Cream together eggs, oil, yogurt, sugar and vanilla essence in another bowl till light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and fold in well.
  5. Add zucchini and mix till well combined.
  6. Put the dough in the lined tin, place it in the preheated oven and bake for forty-five to fifty-five minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.
  7. Slice and serve.
