Ingredients for Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread Recipe

  • Cocoa powder 1/2 cup

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup + fo

  • Dark chocolate chips 3/4 cup

  • Oil ¼ cup + fo

  • Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon

  • Baking powder 3/4 teaspoon

  • Salt 1/4 teaspoon

  • Instant coffee powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Eggs 2

  • Yogurt 1/4 teaspoon

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1/2 cup

  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° C. Grease a loaf tin with some oil and dust with some flour.

Step 2

Place the zucchini on an absorbent paper so that excess moisture is absorbed.

Step 3

Put flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, coffee powder and chocolate chips in a bowl and mix.

Step 4

Cream together eggs, oil, yogurt, sugar and vanilla essence in another bowl till light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and fold in well.

Step 5

Add zucchini and mix till well combined.

Step 6

Put the dough in the lined tin, place it in the preheated oven and bake for forty-five to fifty-five minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.

Step 7

Slice and serve.
