Ingredients
- 400 grams fresh button mushrooms, quartered
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup yogurt, whisked
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and sauté for two minutes.
- Add onions and sauté for another two minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and cook on high heat for four to five minutes or until the tomatoes are completely cooked.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook for another two minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and green peas and cook for five to seven minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
- Add the whisked yogurt and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
