Ingredients list for Crisp Penne and Pumpkin Chips
- 1 cup Penne Pasta boiled leftover
- 300 grams Pumpkin peeled
- for deep-frying Oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Red chilli powder
- to taste Black pepper powder
- to taste Cumin powder
- to taste Chaat masala
- to taste Sugar
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Thinly slice pumpkin on a slicer and dip them to a bowl of cold water. Add salt and mix well.
- Slide penne pasta into hot oil, one by one, and deep-fry till crisp and light brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Drain water from the pumpkin and deep-fry in same hot oil till crisp and light brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer the fried penne into a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder and chaat masala to penne and mix well. Add sugar and mix well.
- Sprinkle the same masalas on the pumpkin chips and mix well.
- Transfer penne onto a serving platter, top with pumpkin chips and serve.
