Creamy Chicken and Veg Pizza

Ingredients list for Creamy Chicken and Veg Pizza

  • 1 cup Chicken boiled and cubed
  • 7-8 Button mushrooms sliced
  • 1 medium Yellow capsicum cut into triangles
  • 1 medium Red capsicum cut into triangles
  • For topping Corn kernels boiled
  • as required Dough for pizza
  • for greasing Oil
  • + for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ cup Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Mozzarella cheese grated
  • as required Processed cheese grated


  1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.
  2. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.
  3. Place each ball on worktop, dust some flour on top and roll out to make a thin disc. Place on the greased baking tray, cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10 minutes.
  4. To prepare white sauce, heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add 1 tablespoon flour and sauté for 30 seconds. Add milk, whisk and cook till it thickens. Remove from heat, add salt and whisk well.
  5. Spread some white sauce on proven dough. Top with some mushrooms, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, corn kernels, chicken cubes, some mozzarella cheese and processed cheese.
  6. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
