Ingredients list for Creamy Chicken and Veg Pizza
- 1 cup Chicken boiled and cubed
- 7-8 Button mushrooms sliced
- 1 medium Yellow capsicum cut into triangles
- 1 medium Red capsicum cut into triangles
- For topping Corn kernels boiled
- as required Dough for pizza
- for greasing Oil
- + for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- ½ cup Milk
- to taste Salt
- as required Mozzarella cheese grated
- as required Processed cheese grated
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.
- Place each ball on worktop, dust some flour on top and roll out to make a thin disc. Place on the greased baking tray, cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10 minutes.
- To prepare white sauce, heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add 1 tablespoon flour and sauté for 30 seconds. Add milk, whisk and cook till it thickens. Remove from heat, add salt and whisk well.
- Spread some white sauce on proven dough. Top with some mushrooms, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, corn kernels, chicken cubes, some mozzarella cheese and processed cheese.
- Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Cut into wedges and serve hot.
