Ingredients list for Crab in Devils Sauce
- 2 medium Crabs shelled, abdomen slit and claws braised
- 3-4 Kashmiri dried red chillies
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic minced
- 1 medium Onion finely chopped
- 2-3 Tomatoes finely chopped
- 1/2 cup White wine
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 5-6 Green olives pitted
- 1 tablespo Fresh mint leaves
Method
- Grind red chillies with a little water into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté well. Add onion and sauté till onion turns translucent.
- Add tomatoes, stir for a minute. Add red chilli paste, mix well and sauté for a minute.
- Add white wine, mix and cook on medium heat. Add crabs, mix well. Add salt, oregano, ½ cup water, mix, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add olives, 1 tablespoon mint leaves and mix well. Cook for a minute.
- Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot.
