Ingredients list for Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
- ¾ cup Crab meat
- 12-16 Button mushrooms stems removed
- ½ cup Gruyere cheese grated
- ½ cup Mozzarella cheese grated
- 1-2 stalks Spring onion greens
- 1-2 Fresh red chillies chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- + for dusting Refined flour (maida) ¼ cup
- as required milk 4 tablespoons +
- for coating Panko
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Mix together crab meat, gruyere cheese, mozzarella cheese, spring onion greens, fresh red chillies, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl.
- Add flour and milk and mix well.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with this crab meat mixture.
- Spread panko on a plate and add parsley, mix well. Spread flour on another plate. Pour some milk in a bowl.
- Heat sufficient oil in a pan for frying.
- Dust the stuffed mushrooms with flour, dip in milk and coat with the panko mixture.
- Deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
