Ingredients
- 2 cups raw cornflakes
- Oil for deep-frying
- ¼ cup raw peanuts
- 10-15 dry coconut (khopra) slices
- 2 tablespoons black raisins
- 10-15 curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon powdered sugar
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide the raw cornflakes and deep fry till they expand, and become golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- In the same hot oil, deep fry peanuts till crisp and crunchy. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Deep fry coconut slices till crisp and crunchy. Drain on the absorbent paper.
- Deep fry raisins till they puff up, drain on an absorbent paper. Add curry leaves and deep fry till crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- In a large bowl, add fried cornflakes, peanuts, curry leaves, dried coconut, and raisins. Sprinkle salt, and sugar, and mix well.
- Serve.
