Ingredients list for Corn Ki Kheer
- 1 1/2 cups Corn kernels boiled
- 1 litre Milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
- 10 Almonds finely chopped
- 10 Pistachios finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch Saffron (kesar) soaked in one tablespoon warm milk
Method
- Heat milk in a deep non-stick pan. Grind the corn coarsely.
- Add sugar to the milk. Keeping aside a few pistachios for garnish, add the rest to the milk. Add almonds, white bread crumbs and mix.
- Mix green cardamom powder in a little milk and add and mix well. Add corn and mix well.
- Add saffron milk and mix. Let the kheer cool down to room temperature. Then keep it in a refrigerator to chill.
- Serve chilled decorated with reserved pistachios.
