Corn Bhel

Ingredients 

  • 1½-2 cups cornflakes
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 medium potato boiled, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • ¼ cup pomegranate pearls
  • ¼ raw mango, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves + for garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Sev for garnishing

Method

  1. Combine cucumber, potato, onion, tomato, pomegranate pearls, raw mango, corn flakes, dried mango powder, chaat masala, black salt and salt in a bowl and mix.
  2. Add coriander leaves and mix. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with some sev and coriander leaves.
