Continental Vegetable By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Oct 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Carrot, French Beans Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Continental Vegetable 1 medium Carrot boiled and grated 15-20 French Beans blanched and chopped 1/2 cup American corn kernels boiled 1/2 cup Green capsicum chopped 3 tablespoons Butter 2 medium Onions finely chopped 2 tablespoons Refined flour to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder 2 medium bunch Potatoes boiled, peeled and chopped 4 Bread slices 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 1 cup Processed cheese grated Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat butter in a non stick pan. Add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add refined flour and mix well. Cook for half minute. Add, carrots, French beans, corn kernels and capsicum and mix. Add two cups of water and whisk well so that no lumps are formed. Add salt, pepper, potatoes and mix well. Allow to thicken. Take the pan off the heat and let the mixture cool. Grind bread slices, green chillies, salt and pepper to a coarse powder. Transfer half of the vegetable mixture in the baking dish. Sprinkle half of the bread – green chilli mixture followed by half of the cheese evenly. Repeat this procedure till all the ingredients are used up. Bake in preheated oven for fifteen to twenty minutes.
