Ingredients
- 1 cup refined flour (maida)
- ½ cup cornflour
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder + to sprinkle
- A pinch of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar + for garnish
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon oil + to deep fry
- 8 frozen chocolate bars
- Cocoa powder for garnish
- Rabdi for garnish
- Chocolate sauce to drizzle
Method
- Take refined flour, cornflour, cinnamon powder, baking soda, powdered sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl. Add sufficient water and mix well to make a thick batter. Add oil, mix well and set aside to rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Coat the chocolate bars with batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Arrange them on a serving plate. Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar over them. Sprinkle cinnamon powder, place a few spoonsful of rabdi in the centre and drizzle chocolate sauce.
- Serve immediately.
