Ingredients for Chocolate Pakode Recipe

  • Chocolate bars , frozen 8

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Cornflour 1/2 cup

  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle

  • Baking soda 1 pinch

  • Powdered sugar 1 tablespo for garnishing

  • Vanilla essence 1/4 teaspoon

  • Oil 1 tablespo to deep fry

  • Cocoa powder for garnishing

  • Rabdi for garnishing

  • Chocolate sauce for drizzling


Step 1

Take refined flour, cornflour, cinnamon powder, baking soda, powdered sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl. Add sufficient water and mix well to make a thick and smooth batter. Add 1 tbsp oil, mix well and set aside to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Coat the chocolate bars with batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 4

Arrange them on a serving plate. Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar over them. Sprinkle cinnamon powder, place a few spoonsful of rabdi in the centre and drizzle chocolate sauce.

Step 5

Serve immediately.
