Ingredients list for Chicken Swiss Roll
- 1 Boneless Chicken Breast
- 6 White Bread Slices
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- to taste Salt
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Slice the chicken horizontally into very thin pieces. Further cut into smaller pieces and place in a bowl.
- Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and cumin powder. Mix well and set aside to marinate for ten to fifteen minutes.
- Trim the edges of bread slices and halve them. Flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Place a little chicken mixture in the centre of each bread slice, roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the bread rolls and deep-fry till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange them on a serving plate, discard the toothpicks and serve hot.
