Ingredients list for Chicken Pops
- 2 Boneless chicken breasts cut into 2 inch long pieces
- 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon White pepper powder
- to taste Salt
- 50 grams Processed cheese cut into 1 inch long sticks
- to deep fry Oil
- 1 Egg beaten
- 3/4 cup Bread crumbs
- as required Green chutney
Method
- Slit each chicken piece without cutting through.
- For the marination mix the ginger and garlic pastes with fresh coriander, white pepper powder and salt in a bowl. Marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for ten minutes.
- Place a cheese stick between the slit of each chicken piece and roll.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick kadai. Dip each chicken piece in the beaten egg, coat them with the breadcrumbs and deep fry till crisp and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
