Ingredients list for Chicken Cheese Melts
- 250 grams Boneless chicken boiled, shredded
- ¼ cup Cheese spread
- as required Mozzarella cheese grated
- for garnish Spring onion greens chopped, 2 tablespoon +
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- to sprinkle Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon +
- to taste Salt
- 8 White bread slices
- For topping Butter
- as required Garlic chopped
- to sprinkle Garlic flavoured olive oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Take chicken in a bowl. Add cheese spread, 2 tablespoons spring onion greens, crushed peppercorns, 1 teaspoon chili flakes and salt and mix well.
- Cut bread slices into roundels with a medium sized cookie cutter.
- Spread some butter and some garlic on each roundel. Place them on a baking tray.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 2-3 minutes.
- Put some chicken mixture on each baked roundel and top with some cheese.
- Place the tray back in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
- Drizzle some garlic oil and sprinkle some chili flakes on top and serve hot garnished with spring onion greens.
