Ingredients list for Cheese Chili Bread Pakora
- ¼ cup Mozzarella cheese grated
- ¼ cup Processed cheese grated
- 1-2 Green chilli finely chopped
- 8 White bread slices
- for deep-frying Oil
- ½ medium Yellow capsicum finely chopped
- ½ medium Red capsicum finely chopped
- ½ medium Green capsicum finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- a pinch baking soda
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Take mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add processed cheese, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, green capsicum, green chilli and salt and mix.
- Take gram flour in another bowl. Add turmeric powder and some water, whisk to get a semi-thick batter.
- Add salt and baking soda and whisk again.
- Spread some cheese mixture on top of 4 bread slices and cover with remaining 4 slices.
- Cut each prepared bread slices into 2 equal triangles.
- Dip each bread triangle into the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
