Ingredients list for Cheese Balls
- 1 cup Processed Cheese grated
- 2 large Potatoes boiled, peeled and grated
- Oil 1 tablespoon + for deep frying
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 4-5 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- to taste Salt
- a pinch Citric acid
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add onion, green chillies and sauté till golden brown.
- Mix together potatoes, bread crumbs, black pepper powder, salt, citric acid, onion-green chilli mixture in a bowl.
- Divide into small portions and roll into balls. Stuff each ball with cheese and roll again.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the balls till golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
