Ingredients list for Chane aur Dhania ki Tikki
- 1 cup Sprouted Bengal Gram
- 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- Grind the sprouts, with a little water, in a grinder jar to a slightly coarse paste. Transfer into a bowl.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, garam masala powder and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add breadcrumbs to the gram mixture and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into tikkis.
- Shallow-fry the tikkis, a few at a time, in hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
