Ingredients list for Cauliflower Bread with Flax seed

  • 1 medium Cauliflower , grated
  • 1 tablespoon Flax seeds , ground
  • 3 tablespoons Desiccared coconut
  • 2 tablespoon Almond flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoon Paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns , crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200° C.
  2. Squeeze out water from cauliflower, put it into a pan and steam for 5 minutes.
  3. Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk till light in colour. Add cauliflower, desiccated coconut, almond flour, flax seeds, paprika powder, garlic powder, salt, crushed peppercorns and baking powder And mix well to form a dough.
  4. Place the dough in a loaf tin and level it out. Place the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Bring the tin out of the oven and let it cool. Demould, cut into slices and serve.
