Ingredients list for Candy cookies

  • 1 medium Butter
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 2 1/4 cups Refined flour (maida)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 cup Gems


  1. Pre heat oven to 375°C. Cream the butter and both the sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla essence .
  2. In a separate bowl mix together maida, baking soda and salt.
  3. Add the flour mixture in parts to the butter mixture and beat well. Add the gems in it and mix well.
  4. Pour in greased cake tin and bake it in the preheated oven for twenty to twenty five minutes.Remove and cool it. Serve.
