Ingredients list for Buttermilk Oats Pancakes
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/4 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- a pinch Salt
- Melted butter 2 tablespoons + for cooking
- 1 Egg
Method
- Put oats, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Put buttermilk, two tablespoons of melted butter and egg into another bowl and mix well. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and whisk well.
- Heat melted butter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter on it, spread into a pancake and cook, turning sides, till both sides are lightly browned.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
