Ingredients list for Buttermilk Oats Pancakes

  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • a pinch Salt
  • Melted butter 2 tablespoons + for cooking
  • 1 Egg

Method

  1. Put oats, flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Put buttermilk, two tablespoons of melted butter and egg into another bowl and mix well. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and whisk well.
  3. Heat melted butter in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladleful of batter on it, spread into a pancake and cook, turning sides, till both sides are lightly browned.
  4. Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
