Burghul Salad with Tomato Dressing Burghul, tomatoes, walnuts, pistachios and all things nice This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Broken wheat (dalia/lapsi), Tomatoes Cuisine Fusion Course Salads Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Burghul Salad with Tomato Dressing 1/2 cup Broken wheat (dalia/lapsi) 4 medium Tomatoes 4 medium Onions to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chillies crushed 1/4 cup Walnuts chopped 1/4 cup Pistachios chopped 1 1/2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil Juice of 1 lemon for garnishing Fresh mint sprigs Method Cut tomatoes roughly and put into a blender jar and puree. Transfer into a bowl. Add dalia and mix well. Place in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Chop onions and add to tomato-dalia mixture along with salt, crushed red chillies, walnuts, pistachios, 1½ tbsps extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice and mix well. Transfer the salad onto a serving dish and drizzle little extra virgin olive oil on top.
