Ingredients
- 1 cup salted boondi
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
- Salt to taste
- 3-4 spring onion bulbs, chopped
- 2 tablespoons choppedspring onion greens
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Fresh coriander sprig for garnish
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder, asafoetida, salt and spring onion bulbs, mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add spring onion greens, boondi and a little water, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
