Ingredients list for Besan ka Halwa-SK Khazana
- 3/4 cup Gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 3 cups Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Almond slivers
- 1 tablespoon Walnuts chopped
- 7-8 Cashewnuts halved
- 1 tablespoon Pistachio slices
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- to sprinkle Pistachio powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add gram flour and sauté, stirring continuously, till it turns golden brown and fragrant.
- Add 1½ cups milk and keep stirring on low heat till lump-free. Add sugar, mix and cook, stirring continuously, for 10 minutes.
- Add remaining milk, almonds, walnuts, cashewnuts, pistachios and raisins, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle pistachio powder and serve hot.
