Ingredients list for Batatyachi Chutney

  • 15 Baby potatoes peeled
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 12 Green garlic pods with greens
  • 6 Dried red chillies
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • to taste Salt


  1. Blend together baby potatoes, onion, green garlic and red chillies to a coarse paste.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds and sauté till they change colour.
  3. Add the ground potato mixture and salt and cook on low heat till the potatoes are fully done.
  4. Serve with hot bhakri.
