Ingredients list for Baked Methi Puri
- 4 tablespoons Dried Fenugreek Leaves soaked in water
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- 4 tablespoons Oil
Method
- Preheat an oven to 180°C.
- Put flour, dried fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt into a deep bowl.
- Add four tablespoons oil and sufficient water and knead into a stiff dough.
- Divide the dough into sixteen equal portions, shape into balls and roll out into three-inch diameter puris.
- Arrange the puris on a large greased baking tray.
- Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen minutes or till golden brown.
- Cool and store in airtight containers.
